INTRODUCTION
Despite the uncertainties surrounding the North American market, nearly 180 importers, distributors, and agents traveled to identify new suppliers. Several winemakers even signed agreements and registered orders on-site, as the wines presented fully met the buyers' selection criteria.
One of the main advantages of this tour, particularly for buyers, is that they exclusively meet winemakers who have a genuine desire to export to their territory.
Furthermore, buyers are not overwhelmed by too many producers, which allows for more qualitative and in-depth discussions about the wines tasted.
Today, due to budgetary constraints, winemakers travel less, which promotes more targeted discussions and more constructive tastings between buyers and producers.
Finally, this tour allowed us to discover a new market, Mexico, where we met particularly interested importers, suggesting strong development potential.
