The APVSA creates the event of the year to promote French wines in Quebec.
The APVSA organizes new professional tastings that will take place in different cities in North America. The agenda: Fourteen French regions will spotlight their respective history, vineyards and passions of wine.
Every month, from Monday, October 3rd, 2011 until Sunday, April 15th, 2012, wines will be presented to the patrons of those restaurants that have been carefully selected by the APVSA for their ambience and popularity. Numerous wine growers will be on hand to present their products to the participants of these ventures.
The agenda includes wines from Alsace, Champagne, Bordeaux, Provence, Jura, Beaujolais, Burgundy, Loire Valley, Rhône Valley, South West, Auvergne, Languedoc Roussillon, Corsica, and Savoy.
This project presents an innovative and creative opportunity to have interaction between restaurant owners, wine growers, agents, local press and of course numerous members of the general public. This event benefits all :
The APVSA marketing plan for mass appeal!
Our media campaign for this venture promises to be both fun and entertaining. It will introduce many new French wines to the residents of Quebec. The radio program « La Route des vins », hosted each week by Pascal Fernand, features the products of our members (Planet Jazz, 91.1 FM, more than 67,000 listeners each day).
The APVSA will showcase the wines by organizing a ‘restaurant-hop’ complete with surprises, discovery workshops and entertaining meals with agents. The variety of events means many participants will have the opportunity to taste the wines.
